ZeniMax Raised $105 Million for id Software Purchase

When the ZeniMax acquisition of id Software was made public, financial details were not disclosed. paidContent, however, has discovered an SEC filing stating that the media company raised a $105 million line of credit to help secure the deal.

ZeniMax is the parent company of The Elder Scrolls developer Bethesda Software and also acquired the Fallout license from Interplay in 2004. IndustryGamers spoke with id Software's John Carmack the day after the acquisition was announced.
