Microsoft has announced the details for the Xbox Live Summer Update, which will be releasing in the next week. This update will include new items to purchase in the Avatar Marketplace based on fashion brands like Adidas, Quiksilver and Roxy and games like BioShock 2, Halo 3, and Fable II. There will also be enhanced Netflix functionality, where users will be able to update their queues using Xbox Live and view movies with other users in "movie parties."
Perhaps most excitingly, however, was the list of Xbox 360 games being made available for download via the Games on Demand service. The list of launch titles (available for $20 - $30) is below:
Assassin’s Creed (Ubisoft)
BioShock (2K Games)
Burnout Paradise (EA)
Call of Duty 2 (Activision)
Dance Dance Revolution Universe (Konami)
Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion (Bethesda)
Fight Night Round 3 (EA)
Kameo: Elements of Power (Microsoft Game Studios)
Karaoke Revolution American Idol Encore (Konami)
Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga (LucasArts)

Features like audio and video streaming from Zune, Last.fm functionality, and integration with Facebook and Twitter are now scheduled for the Fall update of Xbox Live rather than this Summer update.
