Nintendo has finally crossed over into international territory for launching new consoles, it has been confirmed. The publisher will be shipping the new Wii U device globally in order to help get out of a negative slump that started in 2011.
Speaking to Bloomberg Japan, Nintendo boss Satoru Iwata confirmed that the device would ship internationally, following a drawn out discussion on earnings forecasts of the company. Nintendo slashed sales forecasts for 2012, saying that they would also be reducing shipment forecasts for the 3DS and Wii.
