Cing, best known for their atmospheric adventure titles, filed for bankruptcy on March 1, 2010. Kotaku reports that the company is over 200 million yen (2.2 million) in debt.
Cing's titles include cult hits like Trace Memory, Hotel Dusk: Room 215 for DS and Little King's Story for Wii. Their last game, a Hotel Dusk sequel named Last Window, released in Japan in January 2010.

With the quality of their output, you would think Nintendo would pay off their debt and make them a first party studio. 2.2 million dollars of debt is a drop in the bucket to a company that is planning to make 2.6 BILLION in profits this fiscal year.
