Walmart Joins Pre-Owned Games Market

Posted October 5, 2009 by David Radd

The highly profitable used-game market has been getting attention from heavy retail hitters like Best Buy and Toys 'R' Us. While Walmart has also tested the waters for used games with separately owned and operated kiosks, today they launched their own used game business.

The store's used game site indicates that all pre-owned games are tested and come with a 21-day warranty. The systems that Walmart is accepting for trade-ins includes PS2, PS3, PSP, GBA, GCN, DS, Wii, Xbox and Xbox 360.
