Posted August 12, 2010 by M.H. Williams

Trinigy, a provider of 3D game engines, announced today the release of its WebVision development framework. WebVision will allow developers to “capitalize on the Vision Engine’s extensive feature set and cross-platform performance for their browser-based game projects.”

Trinigy’s Vision Engine is a multiplatform development suite ready for all major platforms (PC, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and Wii) and any genre available. WebVision brings the Vision Engine's feature set and modular design to web browsers. WebVision is included free-of-charge in the Vision Engine SDK for all current Vision Engine licensees. It supports 2D and 3D graphics, advanced AI, physics, and effects for all common web browsers, including Internet Explorer 6 and up, Google Chrome, Firefox 2.0 and up, and Opera 9 and up.

“Games delivered through and played in browsers have really grown in popularity over the last few years,” said Dag Frommhold, Trinigy managing director. “WebVision now extends our flexible Vision Engine to developers of browser-based games and allows them to capitalize on all of its advanced features in order to bring games with stunning visual quality and immersive gameplay to browsers.”
