Trinigy Signs Seven New Licensing Deals In Asia

Posted July 15, 2010 by M.H. Williams

Trinigy, a 3D game engine provider with over 125 licensees, announced seven new licensing deals today. The deals are spread across Asia with Neowiz, Nano Play, SmileGate, Aurogon Games, Nsid Global and FPT Online all deciding to use Trinigy’s Vision Engine 8 for future titles. This follows 12 licensing deals made almost two months ago in Europe.

Nsid Global is a Chinese developer who will be using the engine for a new, unnamed martial arts MMO. Neowiz in South Korea has already used the engine for DIZZEL, an MMO third-person shooter, and will be using it again in two undisclosed games.  The other licensees have not disclosed their titles in development.

"We’ve worked with a few game engine technologies in the past, but never with one that gives us the freedom of the Vision Engine,” said Ricky Don, Chief Programmer at Aurogon Games. “Trinigy’s game engine is more versatile, extendable and powerful than any other game engine technology we’ve used, allowing us to simplify our workflow, integrate the technology with our own tools pipeline and speed the overall development of our games.”

“We’re extremely excited about these new deals in Asia, all of which re-affirm our strategy of organic expansion,” said Trinigy General Manager Felix Roeken. “As always, we continue to focus our efforts on providing flexible, stable and high-performance game engine technology as well as incredibly responsive service. This has proven to be a winning combination not only in Korea, but throughout the Asian and global game development markets.”
