Tomb Raider Reboot Is Coming

Crystal Dynamics has revealed today that the digital download-only Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light isn’t the only thing Tomb Raider we can expect in the foreseeable future. With Uncharted’s adventure game stylings riding high with a possible third game and a new movie, Crystal Dynamics has decided to bring back Tomb Raider proper. The new title is a complete reboot for the media franchise, with a young Lara Croft taking center stage.

"Forget everything you knew about Tomb Raider, we are exploring things that have never been done before in this game," said Darrell Gallagher, Head of Studio, Crystal Dynamics. "This is an origins story that creates Lara Croft and takes her on a character defining journey like no other."
