Tomb Raider Franchise Director Joins LucasArts for New Title

Posted April 1, 2011 by Ben Strauss

LucasArts has hired former Crystal Dynamics creative boss for the Tomb Raider franchise, Tim Longo.  Longo will now serve as creative director for an as of yet unannounced title within LucasArts.

Longo has previously been under the employ of LucasArts, back in the late '90s as a play tester for such titles as X-Wing vs. TIE Fighter.  Eventually finding his way to Crystal Dynamics, Longo worked on the Tomb Raider franchise, taking over for Tomb Raider: Underworld and Tomb Raider: Tomb Raider Anniversary.

LucasArts is “thrilled to welcome him back to the LucasArts family.”
