THQ's Danny Bilson Clarifies Wii Comments

Posted June 2, 2009 by James Brightman

A couple days ago we posted an excerpt from an interview with Danny Bilson, senior vp of creative development at THQ, who labeled the Wii a "nightmare" for third parties and said the platform was filled with junk.  IndustryGamers has now received a new statement from Bilson, however, which encourages E3 attendees to stop by THQ's booth to check out what THQ has in the works for Wii.

Here's the new statement:

"THQ and Nintendo have been great partners for more than 20 years. The Wii and DS are terrific gaming platforms and they are critical components of our product line. We invite readers to stop by our booth at E3 to check out our strong Wii line-up, including Drawn to Life 2, World of Zoo and Marvel Super Hero Squad."
