THQ Ceasing Japanese Publishing Operations [Report]

Posted February 16, 2012 by M.H. Williams

According to a report from Japanese tech site Impress Watch (translated via Andriasang), THQ will be closing its Japanese publishing business.  All staff are expected to leave the company on February 29.  There's no word on who will handle localization of the company's titles in the region following the closing.

If the report is true, that’s another round of cuts from the company who just laid off 240 employees following a $56 million loss in the third fiscal quarter.
