Posted March 29, 2011 by M.H. Williams

Crystal Dynamics announced today that Scot Amos has joined the company as an Executive Producer.  Amos will be focused on creating a new core team at the studio to develop a brand-new intellectual property.

Amos is a 20-year industry veteran, having most recently worked at EA’s Visceral Games as an Executive Producer.  He also spearheaded the console division of The Sims franchise at EA’s Maxis studio.

“We are thrilled to add Scot’s 20 years of experience and over 25 shipped games worth of expertise as the cornerstone for our new venture,” said Darrell Gallagher, General Manager of Crystal Dynamics. “His knowledge of building new IP, forging world-class teams, and shipping blockbuster games is a great infusion to our studio’s on-going growth and talent base.”
