The Last Guardian to Make An Appearance at Tokyo Game Show

Posted September 8, 2010 by Ben Strauss

Team ICO’s long awaited The Last Guardian will be making an appearance at this year’s Tokyo Game Show later this month.

The game, which has been in development since 2007, is the first title from Fumito Ueda since 2005’s Shadow of the Colossus. This is the first title from the group that will be on the PlayStation 3, as previous titles were both on the PlayStation 2.

Not much is known about the game at this point. The only information known thus far is that of a relationship between a boy and his creature companion.

Fans of ICO and Shadow of the Colossus might be in for a treat as rumors have circulated stating that high definition remakes of the titles might be released in the near future. Ueda himself appeared to show a graphically improved ICO at a Japanese developers’ conference earlier.

The Last Guardian will be shown off during a session at TGS with Fumito Ueda at 3 PM on September 16.
