Known for his contributions to gaming in the form of Team Ico, Fumito Ueda developed Ico, Shadow of the Colossus, and the upcoming The Last Guardian. While Ueda has yet to respond to rumors pertaining to his alleged departure from the studio and publisher - a story originally reported by Eurogamer - he did at least confirm that he's still working on the ambitious project, with no word as to whether or not he has left the company.
Sony has only offered that it will not comment on “rumor and speculation,” but Ueda’s twitter has gone silent these past few days. Besides a few stock tweets regarding sales and promotion, there has been no response from Ueda on the status of his work with Sony at this time.
