Starbreeze Cuts 25 Jobs

Posted February 17, 2012 by Ben Strauss

The development studio behind Syndicate, Starbreeze, has announced a total cut of 25 jobs.  The Swedish developer has just completed working on EA’s Syndicate title, due out next week.

"It is sad that we are forced to make staff cutbacks affecting employees. But we have to reduce staff after the final delivery of the Syndicate," said Mikael Nermark, CEO of Starbreeze in a statement.

A member of their board, Peter Tornquist, will also resign from his post, with no one stepping in to replace him.
