Paramount announced that Namco Bandai Games will co-publish and distribute the upcoming Star Trek video game. The game will release early in 2013 and will feature a stand-alone storyline before the new Star Trek movie launches in 2013.

"The positive response from our initial unveiling at E3 last year was unprecedented, and we are fortunate to have the highest level of production and creative talent on our team that will bring this incredible game out to market next year."
