Spider-Man will be getting back in the action, with yet another title coming from Activision. The Amazing Spider-Man will serve as a new game based around the reboot movie due out next year. This new game will specifically take place in New York, allowing gamers to free-roam around the city using Spider-Man’s unique abilities.
The new game is in development by Beenox, who will carry on the events of the upcoming movie. The game is also getting the Hollywood treatment, with writer Seamus Kevin Fahey working on the narrative. Fahey is responsible for helping to write the popular Battlestar Galactica TV show.
Release for the game will coincide with the release of the movie, slated for summer 2012.
