Sony's Last Guardian Won't Ship Until Holiday 2011

Ever since fans got their first glimpse of the unique dog-bird creature, they've been looking for more information on The Last Guardian, the new project from the folks behind Ico and Shadow of the Colossus. At the Tokyo Game Show, designer Fumito Ueda confirmed that the game will support stereoscopic 3D, but unfortunately it won't be shipping until Holiday 2011.

On the bright side, Sony did finally confirm the rumored Team Ico Collection, a remastering of both Ico and Shadow of the Colossus for the PS3 (similar to what was done with the God of War Collection).

The two games will come on one disc and will be released next spring. They'll feature a widescreen aspect ration, high resolution textures, and will offer 3D support. Furthermore, those of us in America who never got to witness Ico's European ending will get to see that as well.
