For now we'd say take this with a hefty grain of salt, but the folks at VG247 have gotten word from multiple British sources that NDAs have been in place regarding Sony's PSP2 for many months now. The device reportedly will offer a touch-screen in addition to standard PlayStation buttons, will likely not use any physical media (a la PSPgo), and will come with two cameras (one forward facing and one in the back, similar to DSi). It also “could” be 3G-enabled, as opposed to the current PSP, which is WiFi-only.
The sources further indicated that developers are working on PSP2 games right now and the Sony is aiming for a 2011 release. Apparently there's already been some "finished" hardware units for the PSP2 in the U.K. A source also noted that the PSP2 is "f***ing powerful" because it runs on a four-core Cell processor (the PS3's Cell is an eight-core processor).
We hope to find out much more at E3. Whether or not this information proves completely accurate, it's clear that Sony does need to move its PSP business forward, especially with Apple gaining iPhone/iPad momentum and Nintendo pushing the 3DS. Sony's press conference will take place on June 15.

NES beat Mastersystem/atari7800
SNES beat Genesis/Atai jaguar/TG16
PS1 beat saturn/N64
PS2 beat Gamecube/Xbox/Dreamcast
and currently Wii is ahead of 360/PS3

Graphical power has never been the factor in winning the console war.
