It has been a good long while since Maxis has released another SimCity, and it could be GDC that finally breaks the silence. A new confirmation from EA says that Maxis will indeed be showing off something at the Game Developers Conference.
"How can we change the world together? Find out when EA hosts the Game Changers event at GDC. What would you do if you had the power to change the world?” said EA in a statement.
Other tweets from EA also noted that a ‘huge event’ was taking place with ‘special guests.’ Maxis has also been on the hiring warpath, looking for graphics engineers that could work on a major “triple-A simulation style game” specifically for the Xbox 360 and PS3.
