Sega Unleashes Platinum Games' Anarchy Reigns

Sega and PlatinumGames revealed today the critically acclaimed developer's next title, a third-person online multiplayer game called Anarchy Reigns. The game was previously revealed as Max Anarchy and marks the last title in Platinum's contract with Sega. Anarchy Reigns is also the first PlatinumGames title to feature a fully-formed online multiplayer experience. The game includes a range of multiplayer modes like Tag Team and Battle Royal, allowing players to stylishly crush their friends and enemies.

“Sega is delighted to continue their collaboration with PlatinumGames, one of the most creative and critically acclaimed developers in the world,” said Gary Knight, Senior Vice President of Marketing of Sega West. “Anarchy Reigns is set to offer gamers a fresh multiplayer experience with the quality and innovation PlatinumGames is renowned for.”

Anarchy Reigns will be available fall 2011 on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
