Insomniac Games has had a long-standing exclusive relationship with Sony Computer Entertainment, but that may be coming to an end. IGN says that a “trusted source” indicates that Insomniac will be developing titles for both PS3 and Xbox 360.
While Insomniac Games is an independent studio, Sony published the Ratchet & Clank, Resistance and first three Spyro games, and the studio has worked exclusively on PlayStation platforms for the entirety of its existence along with a close relationship with Sony developer Naughty Dog. Insomniac did recently establish a new development studio in North Carolina, and if we had to guess, any multi-platform development is likely to be happening there with a new IP.

Amazing, but late. The big flood of third party Sony developers to the Xbox360 has already happened. Xbox360 users will love Rachet, and Clank. The developer will get more money and therefor more funds for other projects for both systems. It is a win-win situation (except for pushing PS3 console sales).
I can't wait to see what they will do with xboxlive, multiplayer. Especially if they use NATAL with RACHER and CLANK, are you kidding me! hhhutummm Excuse me I got a little excited, I wonder if they are going to xbox360 just for NATAL? I find it hard to believe that they are just now financially waking up. They are pretty bright business people, and developers. I think it is a combination of the two. Here is hopping for a Rachet and clank NATAL control system along with the standard controller system.

There nothing here but a rumor nothing more nothing less. Wow what a slow news day when you put this crap out so what story are you guys going to post next? Gears 3 coming to PS3? Yes putting these games on both systems will make money for the developer but how much more? fans of these games have already have the console to there game .R/C ,R3‚and Gears have there core fan if you were dieing to get it you would have already got the game . LOL played all these games if you haven't your not missing nothing it's nowhere on the level of GT, FF, Halo , UC 1 or 2 and GOW.

This is just a rumor for now, but given Insomniacs long history with Sony, we felt it was newsworthy. They've done well by Sony and PlayStation, and don't underestimate first-party published titles on any platform – they have longer shelf life and often get more buzz from the core consumer. That said, I could certainly see them testing the waters for the Xbox 360, especially given their tendency to create shooters.
Still, people hoping for Ratchet & Clank or Resistance on the Xbox 360 shouldn't get their hopes up – I'm pretty sure Sony owns (or partially owns) both of those franchises. If there is a multi-platform project, we'd have a feeling that it'd be a totally new IP.

As much as I hate Google for tracking everything and anything I do, you really don't have much choice but to use them. Who knows if this new plug-in will actually do what they say ... it could just be another way to track you when using non-Google services. Or maybe I'm just paranoid.

The only real downside to not having blu-ray or hd-dvd is that some games will have to be on multiple disc. But I didn't complain about that during the PS1 days so I won't complain about it now. online fax
