Capcom ended up tipping their hand a little bit when they accidentally released Resident Evil 4 on the Japanese App Store earlier this week. Capcom today confirmed via Twitter that the game will officially release in Japan soon and in the rest of the world soon afterwards.
"News from Capcom Mobile: RE4 will be coming to iPhone end of July beginning with Japan, rest of world to follow shortly thereafter," read the Capcom Unity post.
It's a fully 3D game and impressive by iPhone standards, but can it fully convey how annoying Ashley Graham is supposed to be in such low fidelity? Nevertheless, with popular games like Sims 3 and Resident Evil 4 hitting the platform, Apple's iPhone is proving to be more than just mobile mini-games and casual titles.
