The Rock Band franchise is really branching out with the recently released single band game The Beatles: Rock Band and Lego Rock Band. Queen guitarist Brian May is thrilled about his appearance in the upcoming game, saying, "It's the ultimate accolade, to be portrayed in Lego. My dreams are all fulfilled now."
On the more serious side of things, May confirmed that there is talk "going on behind the scenes" for a Queen: Rock Band game. "Yes we're into it, I think it may happen," he said.
We could see a Queen: Rock Band game working out, since they're also a phenomenally successful iconic band, and Freddie Mercury is practically a cartoon character as it is. The Beatles are a hard act to follow, but there are a handful of bands, like Led Zeppelin and The Rolling Stones, that we also think could fit the bill.
