While Double Fine might be working on smaller scale, downloadable titles, they still have not completely forsaken triple-A titles such as their cult classic Psychonauts. Tim Schafer still looks forward to the day where they can properly give the title a just sequel.
Speaking with VideoGamer.com, Schafer stated that the IP still remains with Double Fine and they will get around to making another title. “We own the rights to it so as long as we stick around … eventually, you know, I’m sure we’ll get it done before the sun explodes,” he said, cheekily.
“We would love to do it, we would love to do it,” he added.
