During the Tokyo Game Show, rumors that the PSP would be getting access to PlayStation Home proved true, after a fashion. Called PlayStation Room, this new service will be made available via a firmware update coming this Winter and will be accessible via the Media Bar, reports Joystiq.
Similar to Home, Room will allow users to create an avatar and interact with other users in a virtual space. Unlike Home, the customizable spaces and avatars in Room are more stylized than realistic.
