Of the three platform holders, Sony is certainly pushing 3D the hardest. Naturally, Sony's got a vested interest in the entire 3D ecosystem, whether in Hollywood with Sony Pictures, in the electronics business with 3D TVs and 3D enabled Blu-ray players, or with home consoles and 3D games on the PS3.
That last area is finally a reality today, as Sony announced on its PlayStation blog that system software updated 3.30 is live for the PS3. The firmware adds 3D stereoscopic gaming support, but another update will be coming in the future to enable 3D Blu-ray movie playback.
Some of Sony's first 3D stereoscopic titles should become available in June alongside the launch of the company's 3D Bravia TV sets. In Europe, consumers will have an opportunity to take advantage of an offer for free 3D games with the purchase of a 3D Sony set.
The other enhancements in the new PS3 firmware deal mostly with improvements to the console's Trophy system.

Who cares! All I noticed was a policy change telling you not to visit any of their sites if you don't agree with them. Meaning stops complaining on playstation blog and forums about them taking Install Other OS from early adopters.
