The launch of Portal was something of a quiet thing, to be perfectly honest. With the inclusion of the game on The Orange Box, sandwiched between Half-Life 2 and Team Fortress 2, many had simply wondered what the relatively short title was all about. Now of course, Portal is one of the most unique titles in gaming, spawning internet memes, something of a cult following and a hugely successful sequel.
Kim Swift, who helped create the game, is now looking to try her hand at another quirky scientific title, Quantum Conundrum. The new game, being developed by Airtight Games, is moving away from portals into the realm of alternate dimensions.
The title is set for download release on Xbox Live, PSN and Steam for some time next year. Gamers can get their hands on the title at PAX this weekend.
