Portal made an indelible impact on gaming and gaming culture when it released in 2007 as part of The Orange Box. Not wanting to overstate the announcement of a sequel, Valve sent out an incredibly terse press release today announcing Portal 2, which we have reprinted in its entirety.
“Valve, creators of best-selling game franchises (such as Left 4 Dead, Counter-Strike, and Half-Life) and leading technologies (such as Steam, Source), today announced Portal 2 for shipment this coming holiday season,” read the release. “Portal was originally released in 2007 and earned over 70 industry achievement awards.”
“For more information, please visit www.steamgames.com,” concluded the release.

It's amazing how games win multiple awards, and that earn great word of mouth. But still the publisher is only willing to do the BARE minimum of promoting. Someone needs to drop me off on the top of the publishers building with the ability to transport through walls. And give me one large stink bomb so that I can let them know of what I think of there effort!

Ha. In this case, I think it was just a marketing reality; it'll have the cover story for next month's GameInformer, so they were probably sworn to secrecy - it still kinda sucks in the meantime, though.

Experiments are a dangerous proposition. Valuable resources can be wasted if a creative idea is poorly implemented. At a glance, Valveās 2007 release Portal might have seemed like a risky gamble.

And even though that sub might imply that the players are "returning", that could or could not be true. Many players keep a sub going just to keep up with skill learning. It's really the same with any game that has the developer never tells "unique players" but "Active subs." ecommerce

w00t, drag-and-drop sorting of pagetype properties! I thought the discussion at the "CMS7 thinktank-meetup" ended in that it would not be included in the CMS6 release. I, and I suppose many others, are very grateful that the guys managed to squeeze it into this release!HostMonster Hosting Review

Teenagers, of course, struggle and suffer the most, at least in their own heads. I went through emotional hell from age 13 to 18, and the only thing good about it, looking back, is that I grew past it. It could've killed me but it didn't.key west limos
