You can’t fault Sony for not trying something new. During E3 2010, the publisher had their E3 booth glowingly recreated in PlayStation Home. On the official U.S. PlayStation Blog Sony announced that the booth was a rousing success, with over 60,000 visitors in the first day and almost 250,000 visitors since launch. The real-life event had "only" 46,500 attendees crammed into the Los Angeles Convention Center.
With the “tremendous momentum coming out of E3,” Sony is also announcing the release of a brand-new Home personal space based on the hit Disney/Pixar film Toy Story 3. The new space, ‘Andy’s Room,’ is packed with new mini-games and interactive set pieces. The personal space is available today from the PlayStation Home Mall.
Sony also wants players to know that they will continue to have more events and items in the Home space, like PlayStation Home’s Top Avatar, the new Boombox for the Playground space, and new virtual items in the Sodium store.
