PapayaMobile Announces Game Engine and Social SDK Launch for iOS

Posted October 26, 2011 by Ben Strauss

The popular Papaya Network, which has over 30 million users on Android, is making the switch over to iOS, announcing that developers can opt to use their Game Engine and Social SDK for iOS titles.  This is the first time iOS developers can opt to use the service, allowing them to work both in iOS and Android on a single code basis.

“While we’ve experienced great success and growth by mainly focusing on the Android platform since our launch in 2008, we feel that now is the right time to expand our offerings to the iOS market,” said Si Shen, CEO and Co-Founder of PapayaMobile. “Both iOS and Android are here to stay and the release of our iOS toolset allows our developers to maximize user engagement and distribution through our cross-platform social graph.”

All developers that use PapayaMobile’s social tools will also have access to the company’s recently launched ‘Gateway to China’ program that will help with localization and distribution to the Chinese market.
