Michael Pachter in an interview with Geoff Keighley continues his speculation on the new Kinect. Pachter continues to believe that the new Kinect is aimed exactly where previously speculated: social and family gamers. Though there appears to be two “trains of thought” on how pricing should go, Pachter thinks that the higher pricing model will come out on top. He speculates that $149 will be the suggested retail price, but it would seem that we will not find out about actual pricing here at the show.
If anything, the official name for the motion controller has been a “brilliant” move, and should help boost the awareness of the product in the coming months, Pachter added. As for an Xbox Slim bundle he said, “Not until we get a pricing for Kinect."

I have to admit, I was impressed, especially by Kinect Adventures, and Kinectimals put to rest any questions about it working.
Still, it's disappointing to know that even the Wii will have more hardcore games than Kinect, which has none even announced, unless you count the on-rails Star Wars game which is not coming out at lunch.

The game centers around the tech-savvy Trip and the brutish Monkey who have been captured by a slave ship.
