Outbreak Hits Sweden

Posted August 12, 2009 by David Radd

Recent times haven't seen a lot of smiles around Grin, as reports have suggested the developer has closed several studios and laid of a large percentage of its employees. The good news is, however, that some former Grin employees have founded a studio of their own called Outbreak Studios.

"Outbreak Studios believes in having a small number of core employees that are extremely dedicated, focused and deliver high quality. Most of our associates have worked in the game industry for more than ten years. All of them have worked together for several years," reads the company website. "Our mission is to develop titles for Xbox 360 (XBLA), PS3 (PlayStation Store), Games for Windows Live, PSP Go and iPhone. We also deliver online components for AAA titles, both existing or upcoming."

The founder of Outbreak, Peter Bjorklund, is credited with working at Vision Park, DICE, SimBin along with Grin- all of the rest of the employees of Outbreak have at least worked on Terminator Salvation at Grin.
