Nintendo has revealed their lineup of offerings for early 2012, and the big hitters are definitely coming soon. Perhaps most appealing is the new Circle Pad Pro, which will add an extra toggle stick and up to 48 hours of battery life to the device. That has been announced for a US release on February 7 at a retail price of $19.99 (sold through GameStop).
Also revealed are some big game launches, including Metal Gear Solid 3D: Snake Eater and Kid Icarus. MGS is looking at a Q1 launch while March 23 will officially be the date for Kid Icarus’ reboot.
Other big launches for 2012 include Capcom’s Resident Evil Revelations on February 7 (coinciding with Circle Pad Pro), Namco Bandai’s Tekken 3D Prime Edition in February and Ubisoft’s Rayman Origins sometime in Q1.
