Monumental Games has confirmed that they have closed their office in Manchester. The shuttering of the Salford Quays office means that as many as 23 personnel could be laid off.
“We are looking to keep some staff,” said COO Paul Mayze to Develop. “We are doing what we can, but there’s a lot of factors in play.”
Mayze emphasized that the business of the MMO and middleware developer is ongoing and that none of the other studios for Monumental will be affected. “The move is intended to support Monumental Games going forward," stated Mayze.
