Activision has announced that the Wii version of Modern Warfare 3 is a go, and that it will be launching alongside the HD version of the game. Although the game obviously won't be able to offer the exact same experience as its HD brethren, this is the first time the Wii version will be released at the same time as the PS3/360 SKUs.
There was no word on who was doing the development on the title, and if the new Call of Duty: Elite subscription package will be available for the game.
The last Call of Duty title port from Modern Warfare was released two years after the main game, developed by Treyarch under the title of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare: Reflex. Activision has provided no details on the specifics for the title as of this time.
