Minecraft: Pocket Edition, a mobile version of the tremendously popular PC title, has also been making strides much like the big brother version. Mojang has today revealed over Twitter that the game has rocketed past 700,000 units sold on Android, iOS and Xperia devices.

The news comes from Mojang business developer Daniel Kaplan, who noted that daily sales figures for the mobile title were somewhere in the neighborhood of 5,000 units a day.  The game is offered at $7 a pop, and has been selling on the three platforms since November.  The game originally launched to Xperia Play.

Also of note: Minecraft has also hit an impressive sales number at 4.5 million units.
