Mindshapes Pulls In $5 Million Investment

Mindshapes, an edutainment developer specializing in mobile and browser titles, has announced a $5 million take in series A financing. The company will be using the investment to expand and launch two new titles: Magic Town & Language City.

“We are passionate about using the latest technology and contemporary educational thinking to change the way that children learn around the world. This investment will accelerate our plans to become the world's most trusted digital publisher of high quality educational games, books and learning worlds as we continue to expand,” said CEO David Begg.

The company was founded in October of 2010 and currently has seven titles on the Apple App Store.
