Microsoft Seeking Indie Talent for Xbox Live Arcade, Windows Phone 7

Posted November 17, 2010 by Ben Strauss

Microsoft is “aggressively” looking to acquire more talent for development of games set for the Xbox Live Arcade and Windows Phone 7. They are even putting the word out, seeking anyone that wants to apply for a chance to make games.

Any interested developers are asked to email mobilegames@microsoft.com or arcade@microsoft.com to get an introduction to Microsoft Business Development.

"We’re also very impressed and excited by the games and concepts coming from independent developers,” says senior business development manager Cherie Lutz. “The fact that we’ve been able to bring indie games to a broader audience via Xbox LIVE and Windows Phone 7 is a big ‘win’ for Microsoft, and it’s something we want to do more of."
