Microsoft Hiring for Natal Studio

Posted September 10, 2009 by David Radd

It's no secret that Microsoft is very bullish on the potential of Project Natal, to the point where Rare is focusing a good deal of their attention on the motion sensing camera. To add to the fire of Project Natal development, Microsoft today listed job opportunities [thanks That Videogame Blog] for a new studio that will focus on the new device.

"We are developing interactive and creative content for Project Natal," reads the job posting in part. "If you would like to be part of our internal development team then please keep reading. We are developing a studio from the ground up, made up of some of the industry's most creative, innovative, and technical minds."

Some of the job listings mention creating "innovative game-play solutions for a large franchise." Another entry mentions "character interaction, look and feel, AI, combat, strategy, game-flow, and balance."

Whatever Microsoft has cooking up for Project Natal, it does not sound simply like a bunch of casual mini-games.
