The team behind the upcoming Medal of Honor reboot at EA has renamed itself as Danger Close Games, according to the new EA site operated by the team. It's perhaps an appropriate rebranding, given the military nature of their games.
Medal of Honor’s development team is splitting up duties between the formerly named EA LA and EA DICE. While Danger Close is handling the main single-player game, EA DICE is bringing its multiplayer expertise to the online component. Danger Close hopes to bring the franchise back to its original glory. The new studio name did not make any mention of a new game in the works, only that the current game is Medal of Honor.
The new game is set for release on October 12, while a beta is currently available for gamers on the Xbox 360 and PS3.
