Max Payne 3 Pushed Back to Late 2010

During its recent fiscal report, Take-Two Interactive also touched base on its schedule for upcoming releases. While BioShock 2, Mafia II and Red Dead Redemption are all set to release on time, Max Payne 3 is seeing a delay.

BioShock 2 is set to release February 9, 2010 and Red Dead Redemption is planned for April 27, 2010. While Mafia II will come quickly after those releases in the first half of 2010, Max Payne 3 is being set up for the back half of the year for the fourth fiscal quarter of 2010, meaning it could release as early as August but as late as October.

Max Payne 3 was originally expected to release in the latter half of 2009, but Take-Two delayed it and certain other titles until the first half of 2010 to help shore up the game’s quality. This latest announcement helps stagger Take-Two’s release schedule a bit more in what looks to be a busy year for the publisher.
