Electronic Arts has announced that they will be bringing Mass Effect to iOS platforms. Called Mass Effect Infiltrator, it is described as “a fully-featured iOS third-person shooter showcasing stunning graphics and authentic weapons and powers from the Mass Effect series," according to press materials given to ShackNews.
The mobile game will release soon, and will let players infiltrate a Cerberus base to free prisoners and collect evidence of illegal Cerberus activities. Completing the game will raise a player's “Galactic Readiness” rating in Mass Effect 3's Galaxy at War system and the mobile title will also unlock weaponry for Mass Effect 3.
