Marvel is looking to contract with a gaming studio to bring about a video game featuring the Avengers. With Iron Man, Captain America, The Hulk, Thor and the rest of the team potentially in a game there is a lot to work with.
"The rights for a video game based on Marvel’s Avengers IP have reverted back to Marvel," said Marvel to GameSpot, "The Company is in early stages of exploring potential publishing and licensing opportunities."
Given that Iron Man, Hulk and The Cap all have games going for their movies, there is definitely more than enough reason to believe that an Avengers title is getting ready.
