The Nintendo Media Summit 2010 today unveiled some information about DS and Wii titles coming during the next year. Most prominently, it was revealed that Summer will be a busy period for Nintendo, with Super Mario Galaxy 2 coming May 23, Sin & Punishment 2 releasing June 7 and Metroid: Other M available June 27.
In the realm of third-party titles, Prince of Persia Forgotten Sands for Wii was confirmed to have two-player co-op and release May 18. Monster Hunter Tri will have a Classic Controller bundle and free online play when it releases April 20. Finally, Dragon Quest IX for DS will be published by Nintendo in America while collaborating with Square Enix, with more details promised soon.
The new Legend of Zelda for Wii was conspicuous in its absence, but we'd expect an announcement about the game at E3 2010 and a confirmation of a release this year, if consumers are really lucky.
