Madden NFL 2011 Tops All Apps on App Store

Posted August 11, 2010 by James Brightman

Earlier this week EA Mobile released Madden NFL 2011 onto the App Store for iPhone and iPad, and the results are everything the publisher could have asked for so far. The game quickly topped the charts on day one, and it seems to be keeping its momentum, although EA has not released exact sales figures.

An EA Mobile spokesperson told IndustryGamers, "The immediate interest in the title and response from players has been incredible making this one of our best achievements at EA Mobile. On launch day, Madden NFL 11 hit the #1 spot for Top Grossing apps for both iPad and iPhone and remains there today. This is the first time an app priced above $10 achieved both top grossing and top paid #1 positions. The game is also #1 for Top Paid apps on iPhone. Both iPhone and iPad have average ratings of 4/5 stars in the App Store."
