LA Noire Staff Owed $1.3 Million In Pay

Posted October 7, 2011 by M.H. Williams

Legal documents filed by administration firm deVries Tayeh have shown that 40 Team Bondi employees have not been paid a total of $1.38 million.  The firm is charging $55,000 in fees in order to officially close down Team Bondi’s operations.  The $1.38 million (AUD $1.4 million) is spread between individuals in every department, including studio head Brendan McNamara, who is owed more than $100,413.

Unfortunately, it’s unlikely that unpaid staffers will receive any of that money as the company is in liquidation.  A number of personal creditors are listed as being owned by Team Bondi, but motion capture firm Depth Analysis is also on the list.  The firm was co-founded be McNamara and continues on as its own entity.  Depth Analysis co-director Vicky Lord, who was also Team Bondi’s office manager, has already been terminated from the company.

And so the slow, sad death of Team Bondi continues.
