Kinect Placed at $149.99 By Major Retailers

Posted June 17, 2010 by David Radd

While Microsoft has declined to offer any pricing details for the Kinect, that hasn't stopped various retailers from offering their own educated guesses. Mega online retailer Amazon.com [thanks Kotaku] has put the price for Kinect at $149.99.

What's more, Best Buy and Walmart have priced Kinect at $149.99 on their websites as well. This isn't official, and pre-order prices can change, but these educated guesses by various retailers are still telling.

For everything you are getting it's a fairly reasonable price. But games are the major selling points and there aren't any killer aps yet.
