Keiji Inafune's New Comcept: The Island of Dr. Momo

Posted July 22, 2011 by M.H. Williams

Keiji Inafune has announced the first game from his new company, Comcept.  The game, The Island of Dr. Momo, was revealed at a joint press conference involving mobile social game service GREE, Atlus parent company Index, and Comcept.

Dr. Momo is a social game putting players in the role of the title character, who loves cute things.  The game charges you to put animals together to create the world’s cutest things.

The Island of Dr. Momo will be free-to-play on iOS and Android this Fall, with revenue coming from micro-transactions.  Perhaps after Inafune finishes Dr. Momo, Capcom will let him make a Mega Man game, since they recently cancelled the only one on their current slate.
