Kaz Hirai Giving Keynote at Tokyo Game Show '09

Posted July 24, 2009 by David Radd

The organizers of the 2009 Tokyo Game Show today announced [thanks Kotaku] that Sony Computer Entertainment CEO and Chairman Kaz Hirai will give a keynote at this year's event. He will speak on September 24, at 10:30 AM.

Hirai's keynote will be called "New Tactics for 2009" and will be followed by a panel discussion dealing with the strategy for global game makers with other execs from Capcom, Sony, Bandai Namco and Square Enix. Tokyo Game Show will take place from September 24 - 27 at the Makuhari Messe convention center in Chiba, Japan.

The Tokyo Game Show is often used as a forum for large announcements, so maybe Hirai will show off more of the new motion controller or maybe he'll officially unveil the PS3 Slim with an accompanying price cut.
